Jon M. Garon

Jon Garon works with
business clients to develop and expand business opportunities using the Internet
and electronic commerce. He assists companies with privacy and security matters,
intellectual property protection, licensing arrangements, strategic business
development involving new technologies, and general corporate matters.
Jon is dean of the School of Law at Hamline University
located in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was previously a
professor of law at Franklin Pierce Law Center (Concord,
New Hampshire), where he was a member of the intellectual
property faculty and taught entertainment and copyright
law and chaired the task force on distance learning.
He previously served as professor and associate dean
at Western State University College of Law, teaching
in the areas of entertainment, copyright, corporations,
and nonprofit organizations along with additional courses
in contracts and torts.
Professor Garon is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and
Columbia University School of Law.
He is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire and California.
