Dodd Griffith represents established and start-up businesses on corporate and securities matters, and advises investors and lenders on private equity investments and complex commercial lending transactions. He counsels clients on how to structure and capitalize their businesses using traditional commercial financing and venture capital. He represents business clients before the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation in the course of the private placement of their securities.
Dodd represents venture capital investors who invest in New Hampshire companies, and advises investors on the formation and capitalization of investment partnerships. He helped organize New Hampshire's first merchant bank and has represented New Hampshire's only licensed small business investment company since its formation.
He also represents the firm's financial institution clients on regulatory issues pertaining to bank and non-bank lending and other financial services such as investment, trust and insurance products.
Dodd is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Vanderbilt
University School of Law. He serves on the Governor's
Capital Formation Advisory Group, and is a contributing
editor to The Encyclopedia of Private Equity and
Venture Capital, published by VC
