GCG Congratulates Attorney Samantha Elliott, Sworn in as Federal Judge

CONCORD, NH — Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell congratulates Attorney Samantha Elliott who was sworn in on December 22nd as the 18th United States District Judge for the District of New Hampshire.

Samantha had been with the firm since 2006 and served as the firm’s president from 2015 to 2020.  She was a member of the litigation team and focused on business and commercial disputes, property rights, probate issues, and municipal defense in civil rights litigation.

Samantha was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Commercial Litigation, and was named to the New England Super Lawyers® Rising Stars® list for General Litigation. She was a member of the boards of New Hampshire Legal Assistance and the Legal Advice and Referral Center and served as the president for both organizations.  Samantha also served as the lawyer representative on the New Hampshire Court Accreditation Commission, and chaired the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Federal Practice Section.

Attorney Elliott completed her undergraduate studies at Colgate University, cum laude, and received her law degree from Columbia Law School.
